1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

The General Terms of Personal Data Protection refer to personal data located on the website bradvica.hr that have been processed, collected and stored by BRADVICA d.o.o., Poljička cesta 22, 21 000 Split (hereinafter: Bradvica) from users as natural persons acting as data subjects through their use of the website.
Bradvica collects personal data for the purpose of providing funeral services, organising funerals, cremations and farewell ceremonies, transporting the deceased, repatriation, creating floral arrangements and wreaths, printing and publishing death notices, and all related administrative and technical tasks connected to the aforementioned services.
Bradvica, as a provider of funeral services and operator of the website, is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its users. Users are kindly requested to read these General Terms in order to understand what data Bradvica collects and how and for what purposes it is used.

By providing personal data through the website, the user confirms that they have read, understood and agree to these General Terms of Personal Data Protection, and consents to the collection, processing and use of their personal data in accordance with these terms.
If the user does not agree with these terms, they are required to leave and discontinue use of the website.

2. AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL TERMS OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

Bradvica may amend or supplement the General Terms of Personal Data Protection at any time by publishing the revised text on the website. Amendments take effect immediately upon publication.
The user is responsible and obliged to review the current General Terms of Personal Data Protection, available on the website, before providing personal data on each occasion.

3. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

On the website bradvica.hr, Bradvica may collect the following personal data from data subjects: first and last name, telephone number, address, email address, and any other data voluntarily provided by the user through the contact form or through direct contact for the purpose of organising funeral services.
Access to users’ personal data, for the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations, may be granted to: legal and natural persons involved in the performance of services (e.g. mortuaries, cemeteries, hospitals, registry offices, delivery and transport services, florists), as well as public authorities that require the disclosure of personal data in accordance with applicable regulations.
Bradvica uses the collected personal data for: organising and carrying out funeral services, communicating with users in connection with the ordering and delivery of services, fulfilling legal obligations (e.g. documentation for cemeteries, registry offices, repatriation), and improving the quality of services.
Bradvica will retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in these terms, in compliance with applicable personal data protection regulations (GDPR and national legislation).
Bradvica will ensure that users’ personal data is kept in a secure location, with appropriate administrative, technical and physical protective measures in place, accessible only to authorised persons.
Bradvica undertakes to provide users with access to their personal data and to ensure that such data is accurate, complete and up to date. Upon the user’s request, Bradvica will amend or delete personal data.

Personal data in the registers is adequately protected against accidental or intentional misuse, destruction, loss, unauthorised modification or access. The controller has implemented technical, staffing and organisational personal data protection measures and has established the obligation for all persons employed in data processing to sign a confidentiality declaration.
User Rights
Users of the website bradvica.hr have the right to obtain information about the collection and processing of their personal data. Bradvica will, no later than 30 days from the submission of a request, provide the user with:

• confirmation of whether or not their personal data is being processed;
• notification in an intelligible form of the data being processed and its source;
• the ability to inspect the register and to copy the personal data contained therein;
• extracts, certificates or printouts of personal data, including the stated purpose and legal basis for collection, processing and use;
• a printout of data on who has received access to their personal data and for what purposes and on what legal basis;
• notification of the logic of any automated data processing that applies to them.

Upon the user’s request, Bradvica will supplement, amend or delete personal data that is incomplete, inaccurate or not up to date, and will notify the user within 30 days.

4. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

Bradvica discloses personal data exclusively to business partners necessary for the fulfilment of funeral services (e.g. cemeteries, mortuaries, hospitals, registry offices, transport providers, customs authorities in the case of repatriation).
Any other disclosure of personal data to third parties may only be carried out in accordance with the legal regulations governing personal data protection.

5. SUPPLEMENTING AND CORRECTING PERSONAL DATA

Bradvica believes that every data subject should have the ability to ensure the accuracy, completeness and currency of their personal data. If a user considers their personal data to be incomplete, inaccurate or not up to date, they may contact Bradvica by sending an email to pogrebno.split@bradvica.hr or in writing to the company’s registered address.
Bradvica recommends that users update their personal data as soon as possible in the event of any changes.

6. DATA PROTECTION

Bradvica attaches the utmost importance to the protection of personal data and has implemented appropriate technical and organisational precautionary measures for the protection of users’ personal data. Personal data may be accessed exclusively by authorised persons within the company.

7. CONFIDENTIALITY OF THIRD-PARTY DATA

These General Terms of Personal Data Protection apply only to the use and processing of data collected by Bradvica. Other websites accessible via bradvica.hr have their own privacy and data collection policies. Bradvica is not responsible for the practices and terms of third parties.

8. OTHER DATA

In addition to personal data, Bradvica may collect from users other data by which users cannot be identified (for example, data on website usage patterns, device type, browser, preferences), which enables improved development of the website and better targeting and customisation of its content for users.
